A GREAT ADVENTURE
The former coal mine of Cludinico (Ovaro) has recently been renovated and available for guided tour suitable for everyone. 150Km of tunnels along the southern slope of the mountain where Cludinico rises.
Do not miss the chance to discover the magical and mysterious underground world of the former miners who previously worked in the mining complex. Accompanied by one of our guides you will be forwarded in the paths that characterise its uniqueness.

Inside the Mine
The visit inside the Ex Mine takes about 2 hours, it is possible to see the spaces used for ammunition storage (Santa Barbara), coal lenses, cultivation areas, calcareous concretions.
In the Underground
Inside there is a good ventilation and a constant temperature of 15 ° C. In the first part there can be some stagnant water on the ground.
The Path
The whole internal path has been put in safety, and is illuminated. The ceiling is for the most part, over 2 meters high.
The Exit
You will succeed on the outside at a higher altitude and you will retrace the path to the town of Cludinico.
ITINERARY
Tour Program:
1 - Video Introduction
A short introductory historical video will be presented in the Museum of the Exuding Cludinico mine.
2 - To the Mine
Follow the path thought the woods that descends and leads to the entrance of the Mine.
3 - Inside Cludinico’s Mine
Together with the guides you will hear the stories of the workers of the mine, while exploring the various levels that are developed for over 2Km, going up through wooden steps. Good fun!
